About this lesson
The final lesson is about stamina. Several sentences run on from one another, as they do when you write an email or an essay.
Finishing it means you can touch type. From here, improvement comes from regular short practice: the timed tests, the smart drill built from your own weak keys, and the Daily Challenge. Five minutes a day is plenty to keep getting better.
Hand position
- Settle into a pace you could hold for several minutes.
- Keep your posture: feet flat, back supported, screen at eye level.
- If your accuracy drops, slow down slightly instead of stopping.
This lesson is defined by its characters rather than by key position, so it is the same on every keyboard layout. It takes about 5 minutes: six short lines, passed at 92% accuracy. Speed is not part of the pass mark.
