Pop each balloon by typing its letter before it floats away. Only keys you have unlocked in the lessons appear.

A typing game for the keys you are learning
Balloon pop is built for the early weeks of learning to touch type. Balloons drift up from the bottom of the field, each carrying one letter, and typing that letter pops it. The letters come only from the touch typing lessons you have unlocked, so on day one it is just F and J, then D and K join, and the game grows with you one pair of keys at a time.
That limit is the point. A game that throws the whole alphabet at a beginner trains hunting and pecking; one that sticks to the home keys trains the finger memory the lessons are building. Keep your fingers resting on the home row, look at the balloons rather than your hands, and let each finger reach for its own key.
Scoring and the calm version
Every pop scores one. A balloon that floats off the top is a miss, and five misses end the game. Balloons appear more often as your score climbs, so a long game ends at the speed where your fingers start to hesitate. When two balloons share a letter, the higher one pops first, because it is closer to escaping.
If reduced motion is on, on your device or in Settings, nothing floats: letters wait in fixed slots with a countdown under each and fade out when time runs out. The scoring is the same. Balloon pop wants a physical keyboard, since phone keyboards are slow at single keys; on a phone the page says so and offers games that suit touch typing on glass.
Records
Your best score is saved in this browser and shown on the games page. A game with 30 seconds or more of play counts toward your daily streak; it never changes your typing test personal bests.
